Why work with Papillon Promo?
This is a little about Papillon Promo, my history and background.
I have almost 30 years experience in the promotional products industry with roles as both a distributor and a supplier.
My introduction to the industry came about when I started helping my parents in their business on a casual basis. I was hooked!
We started out supplying hospitality based products all those years ago in a little villa in Ponsonby. Drink coasters, matches, lighters, calendars and a few printed balloons were all we did. We later moved into the decorator balloon market and things just grew from there.
Mum and Dad have since retired and in 2015 I formed my very own business and look forward to this next chapter in the industry I love.
I have spent many years in support of the promotional industry in a voluntary capacity. Initially I was Chairperson of the New Zealand regional committee of APPA – The Australasian Promotional Products Association. I then followed this as the New Zealand representative on the National Board. I also served a two year term as APPA President, an undertaking which really pushed me outside my comfort zone but proved to be an amazing learning experience and an achievement I can be proud of.
In 2011 I was awarded Life Membership of APPA in 2011, both the first New Zealand woman to be honoured. With my father Lionel having been inducted in 2004 we are also the first father/daughter combination to be awarded.
My passion for this industry hasn’t diminished and I still relish the challenges that are an integral part of this job. I look forward to working with you.
